What is this?
Our STEM Robotics Education kits are reusable (3-D printable) systems which start as a drone and can become something more. Hence, why we call it a STEM robotic education system and not a STEM drone education system.
This is not a one-time activity. It is a reusable system built for classroom reality, year-over-year growth, and students who learn best by building.
It is an educational-centric product which helps students strength high-demand skills which help pave the way for careers in areas such as advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and robotics.
What does typical kit include?
Kits includes the core components needed to build, operate, and maintain the system, along with the files and tools required to keep it running in a classroom environment.
- 3D printing files and printing instructions
- Downloadable frame files
- Open-source programmable flight controller
- Remote controller (simulator-ready)
- FPV/AR goggles + micro FPV camera
- Complete power plant (4 motors)
- Spare propeller set
- Two high-performance batteries

Why are we different?
-
1
Customizable
Drone. Rover. Hovercraft. Custom design. One kit, endless possibilities. Start with a drone, then morph into new builds, designs, and challenges using the same kit.
-
2
Expandable
One controller board can support up to eight different types of output, allowing the kit to grow in complexity as students build skill.
-
3
Scalable
Whether you want to support a select group of students or an entire school district, the system can scale with your classroom needs.
-
4
Compatible
Built around universal compatibility and common components, making it easier to source, maintain, modify, and expand.
-
5
Repairable
Made for mistakes. Recyclable 3D-printable frames make in-house repairs simple, affordable, and part of the learning process.
-
6
Reusable
Made to be used year after year. The same kit can grow with one class or be passed down to the next, helping schools keep the program affordable.
-
7
Enjoyable
Students enjoy learning when they are actively building. The kit helps shift technology from passive consumption to hands-on creation. Learn more.
-
8
Analyzable / Quantifiable
Learning metrics, progress goals, and measurable outcomes can help demonstrate continued classroom value to administrators and decision makers.
-
9
Fundable
Low or limited funding does not have to stop adoption. The kit can align with STEM funding, classroom sponsorships, and programs that help schools attract attention and support.
-
10
Integrable
Because the product connects science, math, engineering, robotics, and design, it can fit into many existing lesson plans and after-school programs.
-
11
Translatable
Students build skills in robotics, aerodynamics, physics, math, CAD, coding, 3D printing, and more. Those skills can translate directly to aerospace, robotics, programming, engineering, and manufacturing pathways.
-
12
Sharable
Connects students and educators with wider maker and open-source communities including Thingiverse, MakerWorld, GitHub, and Betaflight.
-
13
Open Source
From basic tuning to advanced modifications, nothing is locked away. Firmware, parameters, files, frames, components, and systems can be modified, repaired, and improved by students.
Open-Sources
We are proud to connect students and educators to the wider maker and open-source world. These communities and resources help turn a classroom build into an evolving project.
Thingiverse
3D designsPrintable ideas, remixes, and shared design thinking for students, makers, and classrooms.
MakerWorld
Maker platformPractical models, printable parts, and community-built support for evolving projects.
GitHub
Code sharingVersioning, transparent iteration, and shared improvement for code and documentation.
Betaflight
Flight systemsOpen flight-controller tools that help students understand tuning, setup, and behavior.
Betaflight Wiki
DocumentationShared technical knowledge that teaches students how to read docs and solve problems clearly.
RC Groups
CommunityField-tested discussion, hobby knowledge, and real-world feedback from experienced builders and pilots.
Bring the idea. We’ll help build the ecosystem around it.
Whether you are a school, maker, educator, or open-source contributor, bubble is built to connect learning with the wider world of real tools and shared improvement.
A STEM system that works — and keeps working.
bubble is designed to deliver a strong first experience and continue providing value over time. Whether starting with a small group or building a full program, the system scales with your classroom and your goals.
